Placing Your Best Foot Forward

I have had to think long and hard about the direction my life is going in career wise. As many of you know I am in the recovery stages from ME, I have been fortunate enough to have been upright for a year and that is a blessing in itself.

I am going to continue to make fairies so that I can give one out on a Friday to cheer someone up, hence the name Fairy Friday. I love making fairies, it brings a great joy to me to give them out.

Going forward I will not be teaching any craft workshops in the centre. In order for me to place my Best Foot Forward in life, I need to concentrate on one path, in order to keep balanced and in good health.

I have decided to focus on my therapy practise, teaching Baby Reflexology & massage classes & teaching therapy courses like Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Baby Reflexology & Baby massage.

I am going to blog about the stories of how sending someone a fairy has cheered them up. I love hearing stories of giving.

Fairy Friday

I have a very creative brain, hence staying on track is often very difficult for me. I launched Fairy Friday last week which has been a dream of mine for a few years.

I used to post out a fairy to someone every Friday to let cheer them up and to let them know I was thinking of them. Fairy production ground to a halt this summer due to my therapy centre becoming very busy.

Are you an orchid or a dandelion?

I have come to realise there are two kinds of people of people in life, orchids or dandelions.

Orchids are sensitive people who know when someone is upset in a room, they feel other people's pain and take on board the problems of others. Orchids tend to worry about what other people think of them. They often like to stay in the background.

Dandelions can flourish and grow anywhere, they are good at letting other people sort out their own problems and they do not worry over everything. They can ...

It is ok to be you

This week I realised I have very high expectations of myself. I am going to be teaching courses next year baby massage, baby Reflexology and Reflexology early next year.

Although I have been practising these therapies for years now, I sill doubt my ability to be able to teach and the fact people are paying their hard earned money for these courses. I realised that I just have to start teaching these courses and from there my teaching skills will become better and from every course I will learn...

Turning Negatives into Postives

I have started this blog post to help anyone who is sensitive, emotionally reacts to ctritism and worries about upsetting others, over thinks things and has a tendancy to worry.
